Job summary

Merck seeks a field-based Associate Director Oncology Treatment Site Lead to educate and support treatment sites across the Central Plains region, ensuring readiness, onboarding, and smooth end-to-end execution of the product journey. This role emphasizes operational support over clinical information and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare or life sciences, including sales, account management, or provider operations/administration.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem.
• Proven track record of working with provider organizations and operational stakeholders to implement workflows for complex therapies.
• Ability to operate in evolving, cross-functional environments with multiple dependencies.
• Ability to travel ~50%.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and readiness support for product treatment sites, ensuring education on workflow, system setup and operational requirements.
• Deliver process-focused education for site stakeholders using approved resources.
• Support sites with operational capabilities and knowledge for end-to-end product journey.
• Serve as the product operations SME for assigned sites and provide support on processes, operations and logistics.
• Act as primary contact for operational issues, triaging and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional oncology field teams to ensure coordinated engagement and consistent site experience.
• Build trusted relationships with site leaders and deliver reliable operational support.
• Use data and dashboards to assess operational metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Synthesize site feedback to enhance HQ communications and resources.
