Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL is seeking an Oncology Technician to assist with daily living activities and provide basic nursing care to the Oncology population. You will support the care team under the direction of a Registered Nurse and help maintain a safe, clean environment in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, completion of basic nursing courses, and licensure requirements such as BLS or CNA where applicable.

Requirements

Must submit transcripts to department manager a minimum of twice per calendar year.

Must provide authorization to test (ATT-NCLEX RN or ATT-NCLEX-PN, schedule and pass the test within 90 days of graduation from nursing program, as appropriate.

Training Required

• Successful completion of Moffitt’s Oncology Technician orientation and checklist within the first ninety days of employment.
• Basic familiarity with nursing procedures and knowledge of medical terminology.
• Fundamental computer skills.
• Demonstrated communication, organization and critical thinking skills.

Salary Range

$17.17 - $25.90 Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
