Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an Oncology Tech PRN to assist with daily living activities and provide basic nursing care for the Oncology population. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to maintain a safe, clean environment and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates are Florida-licensed CNAs or students enrolled in BSN programs who have completed Nursing Fundamentals, with at least one year of inpatient hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Florida CNA license is required.
• Active enrollment in BSN program and must have completed Nursing Fundamentals.
• 1 year inpatient hospital experience is preferred.
• BLS certification is required.

The Ideal Candidate

• CNA with patient care experience in an acute care setting.
• Student currently enrolled in BSN program (must have completed Nursing Fundamentals course).

Must submit transcripts to department manager a minimum of twice per calendar year. Must provide authorization to test (ATT-NCLEX RN or ATT-NCLEX PN) schedule and pass the test within 90 days of graduation from nursing program, as appropriate.

Salary Range $21.25 - $21.25
