Job summary

AbbVie in the United States seeks a Manager, Statistics to provide statistical leadership across the R&D organization, enabling design, analysis and reporting of clinical trials and product safety. The role partners with cross-functional teams to advance medicines to patients.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in biostatistics, experience with regulatory studies, and excellent communication skills to explain complex results to non-statisticians, while supporting publications

Qualifications

• MS with 6+ years of experience in Statistics or Biostatistics.
• PhD with 2+ years in Statistics or Biostatistics.
• Pharmaceutical drug development experience is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise to design, analysis and reporting of clinical trials or other scientific studies.
• Collaborate with multifunction teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality analyses and outputs.
• Explain statistical concepts clearly to non-statisticians and support data-driven decision making.
