Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Manager of Statistics to provide statistical expertise across the R&D organization, enabling design, analysis, and reporting of clinical studies. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure scientifically sound conclusions and robust data presentation.

You will independently perform analyses, develop analysis plans, and contribute to publications while communicating complex statistics to diverse stakeholders in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• MS with 6+ years or PhD with 2+ years in Statistics/Biostatistics.
• Pharmaceutical experience or understanding of drug development in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze and report clinical trials or studies; develop protocols and analysis plans with programming details.
• Identify data collection instruments and report data issues; collaborate on databases and derived datasets.
• Perform statistical analyses per plan; ensure high-quality outputs and timelines with Statistical Programming.
• Develop data presentation strategy and support publications; ensure accuracy of reports, tables, figures.
• Collaborate with multifunction teams; explain statistics to non-statisticians and drive cross-functional relationships.
