Job summary

City of Hope seeks a Staff Pharmacist to deliver patient-centered care within decentralized and centralized pharmacy services. The role emphasizes reviewing orders, ensuring safe, cost-effective medications, and supporting oncology therapies under COH formulary guidelines.

The pharmacist will supervise technicians in sterile compounding, participate in quality and safety initiatives, and contribute to education within the Pharmacy Department.

Qualifications

• Graduation from ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Active license with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Pharmacy doctoral degree or equivalent strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• PRN availability; inpatient pharmacy operable 24/7.
• Review and interpret medication orders for safety and effectiveness.
• Oversee sterile IV compounding and unit dose preparations.
