Job summary

City of Hope is seeking a Retail Staff Pharmacist in a PRN role, reporting to the Retail Pharmacy Manager. You will participate in day-to-day retail pharmacy operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate dispensing in the outpatient setting.

The position requires a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from ACPE-accredited college, and current Arizona pharmacist licensure, with at least two years of retail pharmacy experience. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the ACPE.
• Minimum Experience: Minimum 2 years as retail pharmacist.
• Req. Certification/Licensure: Current Arizona pharmacist licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to City of Hope patients, caregivers, and employees.
• Review outpatient prescription and supplement medication orders, dispense accurately and counsel patients in the outpatient setting.

The successful candidate

• This is a PRN role. 2 guaranteed shifts/week + PTO coverage***

Under the direction of the Retail Pharmacy Manager, the Retail Staff Pharmacist participates in all day-to-day retail pharmacy operations which include providing exceptional customer service to all City of Hope patients, caregivers, and employees. The Retail Staff Pharmacist will also perform pharmacist duties including review of outpatient prescription and supplement medication orders, accurate dispensing, and providing medication counseling and education to patients in the outpatient setting.

Position Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the ACPE
