The nurse will care for patients with hematologic and solid-tumor cancers, administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, stem cell transplants, and CAR-T, and participate in research and governance structures. Requirements include Massachusetts nursing registration, with a BSN for new grads; Hem/Onc experience and Epic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
• BSN degree required for new graduates.
• Prior hem/onc experience preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Phase I/II Clinical Trial Research Experience Required.
• Membership in professional organizations recommended; certification in a specialty area encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for a broad range of hematologic and solid-tumor cancer patients.
• Deliver patient and family education and support throughout admission.
• Administer treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, stem cell transplants, and CAR-T.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Additionally, the BWH/DFCI Cancer Center supports many different research studies and protocols. As an Oncology staff nurse, you will be able to participate in the BWH shared governance structure to help make improvements and foster new ideas.
