Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s James Cancer Hospital is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (Contingent/IRP) to join the ambulatory care team. The SLP specializes in assessment and treatment of voice and swallowing disorders and collaborates with otolaryngologists, pulmonologists and other medical professionals to support cancer-related patients.

This intermittent/contingent role provides outpatient coverage, with a focus on sub-specialized speech, voice and swallowing

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent required.
• CCC-SLP certification and Ohio licensure required; CFY considered.
• Typically 1–2 years’ experience in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat voice and swallowing disorders in outpatients.
• Collaborate with otolaryngologists, pulmonologists and other clinicians.
• Contribute to evidence-based practice research in the field.
