Job summary

The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital seeks a Social Worker to provide psychosocial support to inpatients and outpatients and their families. Minimum qualifications include a Master of Social Work and Ohio licensure (LSW or LISW) or equivalent. This is an intermittent weekend position within the IRP Social Work team.

Qualifications

• MSW from an accredited school.
• Ohio licensure as social worker (LSW/LISW) or equivalent.
• Experience delivering social work services in healthcare is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments for patients and families.
• Provide mental health counseling and crisis intervention.
• Assist with discharge planning and health education.
