Job summary

Temple University Hospital's Oncology Service Line seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Day Shift to lead a nursing unit within the Cancer Center. Under the Nurse Manager, you will plan, direct, and evaluate clinical and administrative activities, supervise staff, ensure optimal staffing, and promote a culture of safety and excellence.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Nursing, 3-5 years oncology nursing and 1-2 years supervisory experience, BLS, PA RN license, and preferred OCN

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of oncology nursing experience.
• 1-2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Oncology Certification (OCN) preferred.
• Experience in ambulatory oncology operations, infusion services, chemotherapy administration.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize, coordinate, and evaluate nursing unit activities.
• In absence of Nurse Manager, oversee staff and patient care on the unit.
• Supervise, evaluate, and counsel nursing staff; ensure optimal staffing patterns.
• Support staff education and professional development.
• Demonstrate leadership and foster a culture of excellence and safety.
