Job summary

The Cancer Center of Kansas (CCK), part of The US Oncology Network, seeks a full-time Scheduler in Wichita, KS to manage patient appointments and communications with care teams.

You will answer calls, verify demographics, schedule in the EMR, and ensure accuracy and HIPAA compliance in a busy oncology clinic.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment with accuracy and professionalism.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR/PMS systems is preferred.
• Good communication and organizational skills are essential for coordinating schedules.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and messages, assess priorities and provide timely responses.
• Enter and update patient demographics and scheduling information in the computer system.
• Schedule patients according to provider guidelines and office policies.
• Coordinate pre-certifications or authorizations as required for appointments.
• Protect patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and compliance standards.
• Assist with other front-office tasks as needed to support clinic operations.
