Job summary

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or active eNLC multi-state license.
• CPR certification required.
• Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances required.
• Certification in area of oncology or specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan nursing care for individuals or families.
• Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
• Supervise, delegate, and evaluate assigned LPN scope of practice.
• Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care.
• Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives.
• Utilize the nursing process to implement patient care plans.
• Document changes in patient condition and notify appropriate personnel.
• Promote compassionate communication that is patient and family centered.
