Job summary

Advocate Health’s Carolinas Medical Center 3T - Solid Tumor/Women’s Oncology unit is a fast-paced 36-bed environment where nurses care for patients with solid tumor diagnoses and post-surgical gynecologic cases. You will coordinate care using the nursing process, ensuring safety and quality while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, BLS certification, and at least 6 months of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• 6 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure evidence-based practice and effective communication.
