Job summary

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center 3T - Solid Tumor/Women’s Oncology is a fast paced 36-bed unit that cares for patients with solid tumor oncology diagnoses and post breast reconstruction gynecologic surgeries. This RN position emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based nursing across the continuum and a collaborative care approach.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• RN license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• 6 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and effective communication while leading efforts to create a safe patient environment and high-quality experience across the continuum.

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center 3T - Solid Tumor/Women’s Oncology is a fast paced 36-bed oncology unit, focusing on the care of patients with various solid tumor oncology diagnoses (breast, lung, pancreatic, etc.) and the complications of those diagnoses. Additionally, 3T has a women’s/gyno focus, often caring for surgical patients post breast reconstruction, and other gynecological surgeries. 3T administers multiple chemotherapy agents including bispecific therapies and clinical trial drugs. The team prides itself on inclusivity, teamwork, and exemplary patient care.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
