MetroHealth’s Acute Care Adult Medical Oncology Unit (3 East) seeks an experienced RN to deliver high-quality patient-centered care. You will manage IV therapies, transfusions, and pain control, while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to support cancer patients.

The role requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS certification, and a year of RN experience for PRN staffing; BSN and Magnet certifications are preferred. Our unit emphasizes safety, education, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.
• BSN preferred.
• Magnet Certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide IV medication therapy and blood product transfusion.
• Manage pain and hospice/palliative care.
• Ability to obtain Chemotherapy Certification.
• Time management, critical thinking, delegating.
• Collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs, Nurse Interns and Providers.
