MetroHealth is seeking an RN for the Acute Care Adult Medical Oncology Unit (3 East) at MetroHealth Main Campus. The role involves caring for inpatient oncology patients, including chemotherapy and transfusions, with rotating shifts and on-site responsibilities.

The position requires Ohio RN licensure and an accredited nursing program diploma, with BLS or within 90 days of hire. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for qualified applicants is offered.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Ohio is required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN is preferred but not required.
• AHA BLS for healthcare providers certification or within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV medications and manage chemotherapy-related therapies.
• Perform blood product transfusions and monitor patient responses.
• Provide pain management and palliative care in oncology.
• Demonstrate strong time management and critical thinking in a rotating schedule.
• Coordinate with LPNs, PCNAs, and providers to ensure quality care.
• Maintain patient safety and precise documentation in care records.
