MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Acute Care Adult Medical Oncology Unit (3 East) at the MetroHealth Main Campus—Glick in Northeast Ohio. The unit focuses on inpatient oncology with cross-training for Bone Marrow Transplant and caring for 30 beds.

Rotating shifts with weekends/holidays and a bi-weekly hour total of 72 hours. The ideal candidate holds Ohio RN licensure, BLS certification, and oncology nursing experience; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or in accreditation process.
• Current Ohio RN licensure required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide inpatient oncology nursing care in Medical Oncology Unit (3 East).
• Administer IV therapies, transfusions, and analgesia.
• Participate in hospice and palliative care when appropriate.
• Collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs, nurse interns and providers to ensure safe, high-quality care.
