Job summary

Atrium Health Greater Charlotte is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ambulatory nursing team in Charlotte. You will coordinate patient care in a complex oncology program, including research activities and education for patients and families.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing program diploma, an active RN license, and at least 1 year of RN experience; BLS is required with PALS after hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required; PALS to be obtained after hire.
• Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the clinical care of patients being evaluated for and/or enrolled in the clinical program, including research activities and education.
• Coordinates clinical care across the program using pathways and tools to ensure high-quality, cost-effective continuity of care.
• Collaborates with the clinical team to assess and support psychosocial needs of patients and families.
• Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes and takes action as needed.
