Job summary

Zangmeister Cancer Center is seeking a registered nurse to provide safe, accurate, and efficient patient care in an oncology setting. You will assess patients, review labs, verify doses, administer medications, educate patients and families, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team across clinic locations.

The role requires an active RN license, CPR/BLS, and the ability to travel to other clinic sites as needed.

Qualifications

• RN license required in state of employment or multi-state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with hematology/oncology isn't explicit but oncology clinic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, and other agents as ordered.
• Assess patients, review labs and vital signs, dose verification, and document in EMR.
• Provide patient and caregiver education on medications and treatment plans.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team and perform triage when needed.
• Adhere to safety, OSHA/NIOSH, and privacy regulations.
