Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• 1 year of acute care RN experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing strongly preferred or to be completed within 5 years of hire.
• National Board Certification and ACLS preferred or to be obtained within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Administer medications and treatments safely with strong clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families clearly and compassionately.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record for continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to drive communication and transitions of care.
