Atrium Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a part-time, PRN role in the Oncology: Radiation department at Lexington Medical Center with duties shared across Lexington and High Point locations. The position is 20 hours per week, with pay ranges of $38.20–$57.30 per hour, reflecting RN responsibilities in a clinical setting.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license with BLS, BSN preferred, and typically have at least 1 year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the appropriate state(s).
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be needed by specialty.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Must be able to adapt to a fast paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Use nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient status and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Promote safety culture and accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Communicate effectively and delegate tasks appropriately.
