Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring an RN for the Medicine Oncology Unit. The role offers up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants and a starting pay rate for new graduates with less than 1 year of experience at $36.00/hour. Shifts include 36 hours per week, days 7a-7p or nights 7p-7a, with comprehensive benefits.

This 24-bed unit cares for diverse medical diagnoses with oncology specialty. New grads are welcome to apply and receive Transition to Practice support.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing is required.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Student in the process of completing an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process and standards of practice.
• Coordinate care with physicians, families, and the healthcare team.
• Support Oncology unit patients and ensure timely treatment and care planning.
