UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse for the Multi-Specialty Hem/Onc Clinic at the Richardson/Plano Cancer Clinic. The PRN position supports oncology patients, families, and caregivers by addressing barriers to care and providing ongoing assessment and referrals.

The role requires nursing licensure in Texas or a compact state, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of nursing experience.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program.
• Current Texas nursing license (or BNE Compact State).
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).

Responsabilidades

• Assesses and documents patient health status using age-appropriate care considerations.
• Delivers education and resources to patients and families to facilitate informed decisions.
• Collaborates with health care team to develop and adjust the care plan.
• Ensures timely documentation and supports effective communication among the care team.
• Performs duties within hospital clinic policies and nursing standards.
