Job summary

Pscfl in Miami, FL seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver hematology/oncology care for pediatric patients using nursing processes. You will assess, implement and evaluate plans of care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and uphold quality standards in a Magnet-designated hospital.

Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy, monitoring labs, ensuring safety, documenting in the EMR, educating families, and providing family-centered care.

Qualifications

• RN license issued by Florida or eNLC
• BLS CPR from American Heart Association
• PALS certification within 1 year of hire
• Chemotherapy/APHON pediatric provider course within 1 year

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and document comprehensive care plans.
• Administer chemotherapy and medications per policy; monitor for adverse effects.
• Perform nursing assessments and vital signs; monitor labs and central lines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team; participate in daily rounds and family education.
• Ensure safe medication administration, PPE usage and patient safety.
• Document thoroughly in the EMR and complete handoffs during shift changes.
