Job summary

Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Oncology/Hematology. You will care for patients with autoimmune and hematologic disorders and common cancers, including chemotherapy administration and venous access management.

Requirements include NH/compact state RN licensure, ADN, BLS, and ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card within 3 months. BSN and oncology experience are preferred, with a supportive environment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• NH or compact state RN licensure required.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Basic Life Support Certification required.
• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and deliver nursing care with appropriate assessment and intervention.
• Coordinate care with a multi-disciplinary team and manage multiple patients.
• Administer chemotherapy and monitor reactions and side effects.
• Perform phlebotomy and venous access device management as needed.
• Educate patients and families, provide psychosocial support and coordinate care.
• Document accurately, maintain confidentiality and use electronic charting effectively.
