Job summary

Asante in Medford, OR is seeking a registered nurse for oncology support across inpatient and outpatient settings. The role emphasizes compassionate cancer care, education for patients and families, and coordination of triage within a regional cancer center.

Ideal candidates will have 1+ year nursing experience, Oregon RN licensure, and BLS certification on start; oncology certifications are a plus. Relocation assistance may be available for external candidates.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a fast paced and team environment, i.e. Inpatient or Outpatient setting.
Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon required on start
BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required on start
Oncology-specific education/certifications preferred

Responsibilities

Perform nursing assessments and patient education for patients and families.
Triage within a cancer center setting and coordinate care.
Provide compassionate cancer care and develop ongoing relationships with patients.
Assist in chemotherapy education to promote regimen adherence.
