Job summary

HCA Florida Capital Hospital in Tallahassee seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with standards and practice for the state. You will collaborate with providers to support individualized care using established nursing models and act as an advocate for patients and families.

You will assess patients on admission and each shift, perform procedures, administer medications, document care, and respond to patient needs promptly.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RN license in good standing or APRN if applicable.
• Associate Degree or RN Diploma required.
• No travel required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and each shift, noting changes and reporting them promptly.
• Perform procedures and monitor or carry out orders, document care in the medical record, and administer medications.
• Provide exceptional, timely care and respond to patient requests, anticipating needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, medications, and follow-up, translating medical terms as needed.
