Job summary

Harrington Cancer Center in Amarillo, TX seeks a dedicated Oncology Registered Nurse for day shift, full-time coverage. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to interpret health data, plan preventative care, and support patients and families throughout treatment.

Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and a high school diploma. Prior acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS certification is required.
• High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.

Responsibilities

• The Oncology Registered Nurse is accountable for the health status and for health needs of patients based upon interpretation of health data and preventative health practices in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
