Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Oncology Clinic to deliver quality nursing care using the nursing process. You will work with the healthcare team to maintain standards of practice and support patient/family centered care.

The role requires an Associate degree in nursing, Michigan RN license, and BLS. ACLS and a BSN are preferred. Schedule: full-time, days, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with bi-weekly hours totaling 80.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.
