Job summary

ChristianaCare Hospital in Newark, DE, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the 6E Oncology Unit. The role involves implementing a relationship-based care model for patients, families and colleagues, with 6E providing inpatient hematology/oncology care 24/7.

The successful candidate will have DE or Compact RN license, BSN or plan to obtain BSN within 3 years, 1–2 years Med-Surg experience, and BLS (oncology cert preferred). Hourly pay range is $41.28–$66.05.

Qualifications

• DE RN License or Compact RN License.
• BSN or commitment to BSN within 3 years.
• 1–2 years Med-Surg experience required.
• BLS required.
• Oncology certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide relationship-based care to patients, families and team.
• Deliver evidence-based oncology nursing on a 6E unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes.
• Coordinate care with physicians and support services.
• Ensure safety and adherence to protocols.
