Job summary

Intermountain Health’s St Vincent Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The RN will oversee LPNs/CNAs, develop individualized plans, and participate in clinical conferences in Billings, MT.

Requires an accredited nursing degree, state RN license, and BLS-HCP certification on hire or within 60 days. BSN completion is required within four years unless the nurse has 15+ years of acute care RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• ASN/ADN degree holders must complete a BSN within four years from hire unless they have 15+ years of RN experience in acute care.
• Current RN license in the state of practice is required.
• BLS-HCP certification upon hire or within 60 days of hire; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit.
• RN employment may require meeting ongoing policy and compliance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with patients and families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively with patients and staff.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
