Job summary

Intermountain Health's St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT seeks a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using nursing processes and teamwork. The role oversees LPNs/CNAs and collaborates in clinical conferences to ensure quality care.

The RN must have an accredited nursing degree, obtain/maintain an RN license in the state, and complete a BSN within four years unless exempt by long-term RN experience. BLS-HCP is required upon hire or within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• ASN/ADN must complete a BSN within four (4) years from hire unless you have 15+ years of continuous RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Exemptions apply for certain facilities as of specified dates.
• Current RN license in the state of practice is required.
• BLS-HCP certification upon hire or within 60 days; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care in the best interests of patients and families.
• Communicate with patients and families with compassion and clarity.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional policies and procedures.
