• Navigate the care continuum for patients by collaborating with the Medical Director.
• Ensure timely scheduling of diagnostic work-up, results reporting, and communications.
• Promote the multidisciplinary team process and ensure necessary referrals and follow-up.
• Provide efficient and effective care for patients and families.
• Coordinate cancer-related patient/staff education programs, projects, services, and groups.
• Assist with community events, evaluate results, and continue outcomes research.
• Compile and analyze Quality Improvement data and benchmarking.
• Serve as a patient advocate by promoting timely, competent, and compassionate care.
• Complete mandatory education and training to maintain competencies and requirements.

Requirements

• Education:
  • Program completion in professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN required)
• Experience:
  • 5 years of nursing experience, including 2 years in oncology
• Licenses & Certifications:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Florida
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through AHA or American Red Cross
  • Cancer-specific certification or ongoing qualifying education required
