Job summary

Michiana Hematology-Oncology (MHO) in Mishawaka, IN is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Clinical team on a day shift. You will serve as a liaison among providers, patients, and teams, coordinating cancer care from treatment planning through survivorship, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

You will perform telephone triage, document care plans, and support symptom management, medication coordination, and follow-up care across the continuum.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Indiana RN license required.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Chemo/ONS certification desirable.
• Proficient with MS Office; Mosaiq experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform telephone triage assessments using oncology knowledge.
• Develop, implement, and document care plans with providers.
• Provide symptom management guidance and interventions.
• Perform dressing changes, port draws, IVs, and emergent support.
• Assist with medication refills per standing orders; forward CS requests.
• Coordinate survivorship materials and follow-up care.
• Enter care plans into EMR; ensure accurate orders and scheduling.
• Support care coordination and insurance authorizations.
