Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced RN for the Acute Care Adult Medical Oncology Unit (3 East) at the Main Campus—Glick. You will provide acute inpatient oncology care, including IV therapy, transfusions, and symptom management, within a team that supports cross-trained care for BMT and overflow units.

The role requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS for healthcare providers, and at least 1 year of RN experience for PRN; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification (or obtained within 90 days).
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide IV medication therapy, blood product transfusion, and pain management.
• Hospice and palliative care support.
• Ability to obtain Chemotherapy Certification.
• Demonstrate time management, critical thinking, and delegation.
