Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced RN to join the Acute Care Adult Medical Oncology Unit (3 East) on a rotating shift schedule. The RN will support inpatient oncology care, including IV therapy, transfusions, Pain management, and collaboration with LPNs and PCNAs.

Ohio RN licensure and BLS are required, with chemo certification pursued as needed. The role offers bi-weekly hours of 72, rotating weekends/holidays, and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for qualifying experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or pursuing accreditation.
• Current Ohio Registered Nurse licensure.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers current or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience; certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform IV medication therapy and blood product transfusions.
• Provide pain management and participate in hospice/palliative care as needed.
• Obtain chemotherapy certification as applicable to unit needs.
• Demonstrate time management and critical thinking; delegate to team members appropriately.
