Job summary

The University of New Mexico is seeking a Nurse/Clinical Research Coord to oversee oncology clinical trials within the Clinical Research Office at UNMCCC. This role collaborates with physicians to screen, consent, and manage patients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates hold an associate degree in nursing and NM RN licensure with 3+ years related experience; oncology trial exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required with at least 3 years directly related experience.
• State of New Mexico Licensed Registered Nurse or pending licensure as documented by temporary licensure, or current RN licensure from a state in the multi-state compact with NM.
• A degree above minimum education may substitute for experience year-for-year.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with physicians to run oncology clinical trials.
• Assist physicians with patient screening, consenting and management.
• Follow regulatory guidelines in trial conduct and data collection.
