The University of Maryland, Baltimore is seeking a full-time Nurse Coordinator for the Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy team within the Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center. The role interfaces with faculty and patients enrolled in clinical trials, coordinating regulatory communications and dose treatments per protocol.

The Nurse Coordinator supports regulatory processes, audits, and acts as a clinical consultant to staff, ensuring trial integrity and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Five years as a Registered Nurse with at least one year in research.
• Maryland RN license in good standing.
• ACRP or SoCRA certification preferred.
• Strong communication and data handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead research studies and nurses involved in trials and care.
• Oversee day-to-day clinical research operations and ensure protocol compliance.
• Assist PI in obtaining consent and educate patients and families.
• Coordinate IRB communication and prepare study reports for sponsors.
• Maintain liaison with sponsors, departments, and regulatory bodies.
