Job summary

Tennessee Oncology is seeking a REMS Program Specialist who is a licensed nurse to ensure REMS compliance and manage patient care for designated REMS medications within our community cancer care network.

The role requires a Tennessee LPN license with outpatient clinic experience; oncology exposure and REMS program knowledge are preferred. This position is based in our Nashville-area locations and involves collaboration with clinic and pharmacy teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Tennessee LPN license.
• At least 2 years outpatient clinic experience.
• Pharmacy or specialty pharmacy exposure preferred.
• Experience with REMS programs beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Pass REMS counselor certification and maintain it annually.
• Serve as REMS expert for clinic and pharmacy.
• Coordinate REMS enrollment, monthly surveys, and pregnancy testing.
• Document across EMR, pharmacy and enrollment portals.
• Process specialty claims including prior authorizations and overrides.
• Provide patient care management and coordinate therapy across routes.
• Assess adherence and implement reminders and digital tools.
• Escalate patient issues to pharmacist/physician.
• Participate in QA and audits.
