Job summary

Valeris seeks an Oncology Program Trainer to strengthen reimbursement knowledge across RCM and Nurse Navigator teams, delivering engaging training using manufacturer and client materials. The role emphasizes foundational reimbursement expertise, content updates, and learner-centric delivery within a fast-paced life sciences environment.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years in pharmaceutical/training roles, with strong interpersonal and communication abilities,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health sciences, business, or related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in pharmaceutical/training environments
• Experience delivering didactic content to adult learners
• Knowledge of reimbursement fundamentals (benefit investigations, EOB, RCM)
• Insurance industry experience; PACS/CCM preferred
• Salesforce experience beneficial
• Telephony patient experience preferred
• 5+ years in training roles delivering didactic content
• Ability to adapt training to changing policies and technologies

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and/or virtual training using manufacturer/client materials
• Deliver reimbursement fundamentals training for RCM and Nurse Navigator teams
• Align training content with approved materials and client standards
• Identify content gaps and communicate updates to stakeholders
• Maintain and deliver training materials with the team
• Update knowledge management system with the latest program data
• Conduct new hire training and ongoing skills development
• Deliver compliance updates and refresher sessions
• Track training completion for new hires and ongoing programs
• Follow up at 30 and 60 days to ensure transfer of skills
• Document trainee concerns and discuss with Training and Development Manager
• Pursue ongoing professional development in training delivery
• Coordinate with management to tailor training to policy/regulation changes
• Select appropriate training resources and run simulations
• Meet training deadlines and follow SOPs
• Engage audiences with high energy and clarity in delivery
• Support a diverse, inclusive culture at Valeris
