• Current Colorado RN licensure or active multistate license required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• One year of acute care experience preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Position Summary: This role supports the mission of Presbyterian/St Luke’s Medical Center to enhance quality of life by addressing the whole person’s needs, beyond just medical care. The Oncology RN oversees and directs care for patients with hematologic/oncologic diagnoses, managing medical and surgical patients, and leading multidisciplinary collaboration for coordinated care. The RN is responsible for supervising assistive personnel and maintaining accountability for patient care. Within the first year, the RN will develop basic clinical skills for hematology/oncology patients. Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Position Requirements:

• Current Colorado RN licensure or active multistate license, BLS certification. ONS chemotherapy provider card required within 9 months of hire (not required for PRN staff). ACLS and OCN preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• One year of acute care experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills, team management abilities, critical thinking, and chemotherapy certification are preferred.
