Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Oncology Unit (Nights) at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. This per diem role requires at least 48 hours every 6 weeks, with 24 weekend hours, and shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am.

You will assess patients, coordinate care, communicate with the health care team, and provide family teaching. A BSN or ADN and IL licensure are required, along with CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) or BSN from an accredited program.
• Current Illinois nursing license.
• Current American Heart Association CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment and health data collection.
• Coordinate plan of care to ensure safe, timely interventions.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff.
• Tailor patient and family teaching to learning needs.
• Participate in quality improvement to evaluate nursing practice.
• Maintain nursing knowledge per current standards and regulations.
