Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Oncology Unit on night shift at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. The role is per diem Level 1 with 48 hours every six weeks, including 24 hours on weekends, and 7:00pm–7:30am shifts.

You will assess patients, coordinate plans of care, and educate patients and families while adhering to current nursing standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois nursing license and CPR certification.
• Ability to work nights and per diem hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data with patient and family involvement.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure safe, timely interventions.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families, and team members in person and written form.
• Individually tailors patient and family teaching to learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating nursing practice quality through improvement initiatives.
• Maintains knowledge of current nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
