Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking an RN for the Oncology Unit to join our full-time night shift team (7:00pm–7:30am, every other weekend). Location: Arlington Heights, IL; 36 hours per week.

You will assess patients, coordinate plans of care, educate patients and families, participate in quality improvement, and maintain up-to-date nursing practice per state laws. Requires Associate's degree or BSN, IL licensure, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing or BSN required.
• Current Illinois nursing license.
• CPR certification from American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families, and care teams in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Tailors patient and family teaching to learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating nursing practice and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains up-to-date nursing practice standards, laws, and regulations.
