Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• ASN/ADN degree required; BSN within four years of hire or prior extensive RN experience (15+ years) exempts the BSN.
• BLS-HCP certification on hire or within 60 days; ACLS/NRP/PALS as unit needs.
• Ability to interact with others through effective communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate care with the health team and oversee LPNs/CNAs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and participate in clinical conferences.
• Follow hospital policies, guidelines and documentation requirements.
