Job summary

Advocate Health in North Carolina is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join the Oncology: Radiation team at Lexington Medical Center and High Point location. The role is 20 hours per week with a PRN schedule, sharing duties between sites.

The RN will provide patient-centered care, follow nursing process, uphold safety, document in EHR, and participate in professional governance and quality initiatives. BSN preferred, BLS required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Active RN license with multi-state or single-state privileges.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and coordinate with the care team.
• Ensure safety and accurate EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed.
• Provide patient- and family-centered care across lifespan.
