Radiation Oncology Locum Position Available

Target Start: Mid June

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Patient Load: Average Consults: 4 per day, Average Inpatient: 1

Location: Erie, PA

Treatment Statistics:

Average treatments per day: 38

75% IMRT, Average SBRT per day: 1.6, Average HDR per day: 0.11

Call Schedule:

• Weeknight call: 4 pm - 10 pm
• 24-hour Weekend Call: 8 am - 8 am
• 12-hour Weekend Call: 8 am - 8 pm

Additional Information:

• Weeknight calls are typically handled over the phone; if needed, a patient can be brought to the cancer center for consultation the following morning. The inpatient services are at a nearby Medical Center, while the Cancer Center is an outpatient facility about 4 miles away.
• Calls usually involve side effect or medication questions, averaging about 1 consult per week and possibly 1 over the weekend. Hospital consults may occur on weekdays, with the on-call physician visiting the patient at the hospital at day's end.
