Job description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Oncologist. You will address questions related to diagnosis and treatment options, offering educational insights to guide participants. The Consulting Physicians will provide Expert Opinions for informational purposes only. These Expert Opinions should not be construed as medical advice or a substitute for professional medical guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Providing expert medical opinions via remote consultations using the platform.
  • Reviewing participant clinical summaries, medical records, diagnostic tests, and imaging studies to address diagnosis and treatment inquiries.
  • Offering evidence-based recommendations for treatment plans, including medication management, surgical interventions, and alternative therapies.
  • Providing educational insights on medical conditions and treatment options.
  • Ensuring accuracy and reliability of information, citing relevant sources.
  • Adhering to established turnaround time expectations for consultations.
  • Collaborating with clinicians as needed to provide comprehensive consultations.

Requirements

  • Possess a Medical Degree
  • Possess an Active Medical License
  • Have a Board Certification in Specialty and / or subspecialty
  • Maintain current affiliation with an academic medical center or teaching hospital
  • Demonstrate a passion for patient education
  • Able to effectively communicate via written and verbal medium
  • Exhibit proficiency with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
