Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Radiation Oncology

Join a dynamic healthcare facility in Dubuque, Iowa, that specializes in providing exceptional patient care. We are seeking a dedicated Radiation Oncologist to provide full-time coverage as soon as possible. This position offers a supportive environment with a focus on advanced treatments and patient-centered care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide radiation oncology services for adult patients.
• Manage an average of 20-25 outpatient treatment visits daily, including follow-ups and consults.
• Perform required procedures such as Conventional Radiotherapy, 3D Radiotherapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and more.
• Utilize EMR system (Aria) effectively for patient documentation.
• Work schedule: 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with 30 minutes for lunch.
• Availability for 4-week stretches of coverage with no time off within each block.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Radiation Oncology.
• Active Iowa license or IMLC (must already possess; no candidates needing to obtain will be considered).
• Required COVID vaccination.
• Ability to start ASAP upon credentialing (approximately 30-60 days).
• Experience with Aria documentation is highly preferred.
• Local candidates or those within driving distance are highly preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification is required.
• An active Iowa medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) status is mandatory.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required.
